DJ Kara w/ DJ MOJOE Behind The Scenes At Sally Premiere

I had the opportunity to DJ the premiere of Sally this year, a new documentary on National Geographic about the first American woman in space. How cool is that?! As a female DJ, I know what it’s like to navigate a male-dominated job, so this event felt a bit closerer to home.

I really love playing events like this. Being a professional DJ my goal is to set the vibe. It’s not about a packed dance floor or flashing lights, but more of a sexy, elevated eclectic lounge feel. People are there to connect, have great conversations, and enjoy tasteful music in the background. These are the moments where I get to be super creative with my sets. I love it!
