Kara's April Favs!

So i just finished creating my April Playlist and I am so excited to share it with you! This time, I decided to add songs with a more of a feel vibe.  I went away from all the super dope eclectic ALT RNB I've shared in the part, and went more for just good music.  Most are acoustic singer/songwriter songs, and some are cool melodic songs with catchy beats and lyrics.  Ive included a few new songs, some classics, and some randoms that you might have forgotten about!!  This is a great playlist for when you are simply in a good mood, and want good musical vibes! This playlist includes some of my all time favs, so I hope you like it!

This was a pretty cool opportunity getting interviewed and a mix of mine played on one of Belgium's top radio stations! One of my dreams is to become a radio DJ, so yes this is definitely a stepping stone! AHH!!!

I wanted to first of all give a HUGE thank you to Peter for reaching out to me and having me on the show, and I also want to give a shout to Voxdjs a DJ company based in Manhattan Beach. They were not mentioned in this interview but were huge in me getting started as a DJ :)

Lately I have spent a ton of time listening and searching for music to prepare mixes I want to put together this month.  And, I have found so many songs that I am currently obsessed with!! I cant stop listening!  So, I decided I would put together a playlist and share it with you before I get the mix together! 

Hoping I can get this mix finished this month.  But for now, enjoy this urban chilled out electronic mix (honestly I don't know the genre) but the music fits ;)

All About Dinner Playlists!

As you probably know by now, I DJ a lot of weddings lol.  And during these weddings, I work hard to pack the dance floor with all of the hits I know my couples and their crowd want to hear!!  My goal as wedding Dj is to obviously get people dancing!!!! ......... But what do I play when its not yet time for dancing? 

What do I play?? 

For me, the dinner playlists I curate are almost just as important as the music I play for dancing. While it is background music, it is music that guests and couple will hear, recognize, and think about whether they like or not.   Having a great dinner playlist adds to the night and helps to set up a positive atmosphere which will ultimately compliments the music played for dancing!!

To set up my dinner playlists,  I work closely with couples to find the "right" music to play that they enjoy, that they feel their guest will like, and music that will enhance the mood of the night! Within this post, I wanted to share with you a few of my most well received dinner playlists!
